2011 BRIDAL SHOWER ATTIRE
I saw this as the topic of conversation in another thread and I just thought I'd post my answer seperately as a member of the committee so it's not buried in a thread. We did discuss 'dress code' when we were planning and ultimately decided to leave it up to everyone going, but...
'As far as attire goes, we figured everyone would dress the way they would dress if they were invited to someone else's bridal shower... eg, dress or nice slacks and a blouse... we can't tell people what to wear, you bought a seat and are welcome to come as you wish, but ...would you wear jeans to your friend's bridal shower? OR your OWN shower for that matter?
It was suggested to me at one point during the planning that we post a dress code in the invitation, which I vetoed, but we'd still like to keep it classy![]()
