2011 Ladies--Honeymoon Check

Hi ladies,

I know there is a separate Honeymoon Thread but I don't see many postings. I thought i'd start one here for us 2011 gals!

Anyone already thinking about honeymoon destinations?? Please post your thoughts!

We are thinking Mexico--either Puerto Vallarta or Cabo San Lucas.

Hope everyone is having an awesome day. I'm praying for a snow day tomorrow (work in a school).

Us too I reallllly want to go to greece, he wants to go to ireland or hawaii.

We are thinking about waiting till the summer and cruising the Mediterranean. Or going to Ireland, or Hawaii, we are so torn.

I like this thread! We are thinking about a lot of different places, but we don't want to break the bank. Some places we have talked about:

Excellence Riviera Maya
Excellence Punta Cana
Paradise Island Bahamas
Puerto Rico
Poland

** I went to Puerto Rico last spring with my fiance and we loved it! There is so much to do!

Our honeymoon will have to wait until beginning of July since I work in a school, so we're thinking Aruba because the weather there is beautiful year round.

Been looking but not seriously yet. I would say probably Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, or St. Lucia would be top choices for our month. Want to avoid hurricanes if possible.

omgosh me and fh just watched couples retreat today and FELL IN LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE with Bora Bora... looks AHH-mazing!!!!!!!!!

OMG the Mediterranean cruise sounds greattttt!!! My FH and I have been talking about taking a cruise over to the Mediterranean! He's never been on a cruise and I've never been to the Mediterranean. I hear it's fabulous, what I'd really like to do is visit the Greek Islands!! We haven't ck'd anything as of yet, but in the next couple of mths i'm sure we'll start looking into something!

What do u guys think about the Greek Islands? I'd love to go to Santorini!!

1. Hong Kong, where his family is from
2. Taiwan, where some of my family lives
3. Thailand, for 2 weeks for fun!

We are pretty set on Hawaii... we are thinking about attempting to book this spring in order to possibly make it more affordable.. does anyone know if there are true benefits to booking so far in advance?

Does anyone have any Hawaii advice/recommendations?

Bora Bora is amazing! I've been to all the Tahitian Islands with my family a few years back. If I could afford to go there for my honeymoon, I would. Definitely go if you can afford it!!
