I have to guarantee 150 people at my RH. I would really like to stay as close to the 150. I'm not sure how many to invite over that. I know people say about 10% say no, but is this what is happening to you ladies? Is it a true 10 - 15% are saying no? What would be your suggestions for how many I should invite over the 150?

Re: 2011 question...
The average is 20% but everyone is different. I wanted 90 I invited 133 I will end up having about 105 guests. My advice make your list determine who HAS to be invited then make a B list which is your back-up/extra people. Send out A people early then send out B list as you get your nos in.

Re: 2011 question...
15-20% no rate for us. We invited @ 200 and our final count is 169.

Re: 2011 question...
Our guarentee was 160. We invited 235 and had exactly 160. I would try to invite at least 200.

Re: 2011 question...
Our guarantee was 125. We invited just about 200 and ended up with around 150. Granted like, 70 people said no so we SHOULD have ended up with around 130, which would have been perfect, but around 20 people wound up being added as extras because when we would address it to 'Mr. and Mrs.' we would get a response that 5 were coming. Or people would just add a guest for themselves. And bam! 20 extra people. The only reason we let it slide is because at first, we thought we were gonna be under our minimum... but then it was just ridiculous!

Re: 2011 question...
I haven't gotten a single no yet....I have a relatively low guarantee....was hoping for 125 to 135....I'm afraid everyone will come at this point.
Apparently my wedding is the event of the century and no one wants to miss it....

Re: 2011 question...
We guaranteed 150, invited about 225 (lost count after a while ) and had exactly 150 show up. We also had a bunch of OOT so I would say 200 to be safe.
