2011 SHOWER ALERT: Please read if you have tickets for Sunday!
HELLOOOOOOOO 2011 brides!!!
I can't believe our shower is Sunday!!! The months have FLOWN by since we started seriously talking about planning in July. The committee had its final meeting this evening and we are all SO EXCITED to see everyone on Sunday. We just wanted to apprise you of a few things to keep in mind:
1) NO MORE CHANGES: If you cannot go at this point, a) that sucks that you won't be there!!![]()
and b) it's too late for us to make changes to everything we've printed. We will make arrangements to help you swap your secret bride gifts, but we can no longer take any substitutions. However, if an emergency comes up as they sometimes do (God forbid), please let us know so we're not worrying about you!! We will check LIW if someone doesn't show up so shoot me an FM.
2) ATTIRE: The general consensus is that we were figuring everyone to dress as if they were going to their best friend's shower. Most of the girls I spoke with said a dress, or dress pants with a cute top and heels. Take this opportunity to get dolled up a little cause we'll be taking lots of pictures!
3) GIFTS: Remember to bring one for your bride. At this point we have no one who opted out of the swap, so everyone is expecting to receive a gift. Therefore everyone is expected to BRING one. If you do not have one at check in, you will be sent to the nearest BB&B/Target/Macy's, etc. to purchase something for the bride assigned to you. No one should be going home empty handed.
4) DOLLAH DOLLAH BILLS, YA'LL: We have a lot of raffle prizes to give away including one veerrrrry special, very coveted prize courtesy of LIW. Bring some cash to purchase tickets. The proceeds are all going to charity and you'll be walking away with some nice prizes and packages.
We can't wait to see everyone. Just another sign that's everyone's weddings are getting closer!!![]()
