2012 Bridal Shower

Hi Girls:

I had posted a little while back about being willing to organize (with the help of those who volunteered) the 2012 Bridal Shower.

I thought October would be a good month to do it in (I mean October is my birthday month so how can it be a bad month!).

I looked at the calendar and picked Sunday October 23rd. How does that sound for people.

I was thinking that we could have it in a private room in a restaurante or something. I figure Eastern Nassau probably makes the most sense since we have a lot of Suffolk girls here!

Post (1) whether October 23rd is ok with you, and (2) any suggested venues.

This would be only for 2012 brides.

Thank you all for the offer of help. Trust me I am going to be needing help. I am going to be having a committee or something like that to keep things organized and under control

I'm in and will help in anyway possible!

I have a suggestion for stuff like this and get togethers and stuff.

Can we maybe do a poll for location or dates or whatever else the issue is for people. I think if we all have options and vote on them that would be the best thing to do to be fair for everyone to get a say. Just a thought!

That is a great idea Kristyn. I am going to come up with a few places (Please keep suggesting away) and then post a poll. I will also call them/go to them to get prices so I can include that in the post as well.

so far as of now this looks like a good date....!!!...not sure about the locations though, with everyone living different places...i will do some research to see if i can come up with some ideas in addition to La Piazza!

Hey! As of right now that date sounds wonderful but as everyone is saying, its a little too far off to give a definite :)

La Piazza is good! I cant think of any other suggestions at this very moment..i was going to suggest Chinese but I see that is out..so Ill keep thinking!

Are we going to pay a per person charge? Im not sure if La Piazza does that..we can check on that!

The place I had my engagement party was good also! Elisa's Ristorante Cafe in North Bellmore! Not sure the cost or anything cause my parents did it..but the table got appetizers, lunch, salad and a cake and it was unlimited alcohol--i know there was a bunch of different plans..I can ask my parents if you want more info!
