2012 Brides??!?!?!

Hey girls, Im not sure when I should start booking vendors, I have a little under 2 years and feel like I have plenty of time but I see some girls on here getting married in 2012 who are booking their florists and stuff etc... One of my best friends also has had a 2 year engagement (and is getting married july of next year) and she said she went to vendors and majority of them didnt have her date!!! Im nervous!!!!!!! What do you all think?????!?!?

I have everything booked except for limos & dj.

I say go for it, you can never be too early.

especially if they are a popular vendor, they will get booked!

and mind you i booked everything with 3 years to go cuz i got engaged sept 2009 and im not getting married until novemeber 2012!

I haven't booked any vendors yet either! well other than my RH and Engagement Party

But I think i'm gonna start soon.. I have a list of potential vendors, just haven't called any yet

I only have RH, Church and Photographer...I am going to wait until January to book everything else, just incase my mind changes..

I have my hall booked and my dj.. my total engagement will be 3 yrs 4 months long..

the only reason i booked dj so early was bc they gave us an awesome price n some bs bout locking in that price lol plus we were 100% sure about it n thought y should we wait...

For the rest of 2010 we r payin off the hall n then have all of 2011 and beg of 12 to pay off vendors...

photo/video is next right after we get the 2010 tax return.. followed by dj n honeymoon.. flowers will be later bc i have no clue what i wantt.. i feel like i want to know my colors first before i look intio flowers

Im just enjoying the engagement right now. If i over do it. I will loose my mind. : )

Im going to start right after the engagement party in September.

That sounds good Jroc! I think I will do the same.. I am having my e-party in September also...however I did go to a showcase last night at The Inn @ NHP where Im getting married and they were offering great deals if you book at a showcase so I think that is what I will do when the time comes! : )
