Hello,

I also have the outdoor cocktail hour in my contract and I would love to do but I am just not sure if it would be warm enough.

Hi everyone new here!!!

1. I am having my reception in the Plaza Room also
2. Yes! as long as it doesnt rain we are planning on having both ceremony and cocktail hour outside
3.we have been working with Marc :)

if you dont mind me asking what vendors are you using, we are starting that part of the planning and have no clue where to start....

YAH lots of CHCC brides!

I am using the following vendors and I LOVE them all:

1. DJ- Variety Music - Ray as my MC
2. Photographer/Videographer- Patken (Steve as my photographer)
3. Florist- Pedestals
4. Limo- Camelot

Thank you! i was actually looking at that photographer too. when we went to a showcase at crest hollow they were the only vendors that werent being extra pushy. i liked that, but there work seemed really nice too :)

wow on a side note this site is sooo much nicer then theknot, i have been using that site since engaged and havent found nearly as much help.

I have heard that about theknot. I really have not been on that but I can say that the girls on here are great. We have had a few get togethers already and I definitely can see myself being friends with these girls after the wedding!

I still have to do limo and dj is a friend.

I haven't heard of any new showcases yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they have one in the spring. We went to one in late Jan/early Feb. it was nice. Not too insane like the expo's in the city.

I hope they have another one soon, when I went to that one I was so new to the whole thing that it was a bit overwhelming and I didn't really get much out of it.

Yea the girls at the knot are a lil mean and not to helpful. Very bitter brides I guess. Think I'm done with that site for help. It was only entertaining when I would be bored at work and reading the drama on the message boards, it was like a bad reality show LOL

My FH thinks I'm nuts for wanting to go, but we have our 'test' engagement pictures to take that day, so I kept saying since we will already be in L.I. might as well swing by LOL

I just really wanna see the hall especially during this time of the year, we've only been there during the winter and I know it must look even prettier now LOL

I want to see it too because it's kind of close to what it will look like for my wedding.
