2012 LIW Bridal Shower

Ok... So I realized that I better get on the ball with this one!

I want to start to look at places to get an idea of where to have it. I was thinking of keeping it in Western Suffolk or Eastern Nassau so it is in the middle of the island.

Here is a poll for the date.

Also, please add recommendations of places that we can look.

Also, let me know if you want to be on the LIW 2012 Bridal Shower planning committee.

rumor has it that my shower is that sunday in Oct... Before weather gets too cold and ppl dont wanna travel, so any other date is good for me.

I don't really post that often but I have been working 7 days a week. After the summer I want to go back to having weekends off. If you don't mind a newbie joining you girls I think I might need a day out with other brides.
Any of those days works for me now.

OMG I know I was thinking the same thing! It's so weird that girls are preparing for their showers while my wedding is still.... 489 days, 3 hours, 16 minutes, 4 seconds away..... lol

Me too, I just get overwhelmed and feel like I don't know what to say. It's funny because in my career I have to talk to new people all the time but socially I am just... special. lol

I'm glad I'm not alone in this!! I would love to make it, and meet all you girls. I hope I can plan a weekend around this event. 10/23 is no good for me, its FH birthday!!

Yes if people can post suggestions on here that would be great. I was thinking that the people who want to be part of the plannuing committee can all meet for dinner or something and come up with a plan.

Yes... We will all have a secret bride and we get a gift (with a set limit) from that person's registry.

We can play games, have a charity auction, etc.

Anyone who has ideas of what we want to do there throw them out!
