2013 Bridal Shower!!


Hi Ladies,

Moving forward with our plans the Bridal Shower Committee has chosen the Miller Ridge Inn Garden room as our venue for the 2013 bridal shower!! The date as mentioned prior will be November 11th, 2012 at 2 pm.

We are starting to collect money for the event now. The cost will be $50 for all including raffles, food, and decorations. I am accepting checks or cash. If you need to mail them to me please fm me for my address. Once we have $500 for the deposit I will return to Miller Ridge. I will be placing my name on the contract ladies, so please understand I am taking a huge risk and I will be financially responsible for this event. Please ensure you can come when you send your money in, because of the financial liability the money will be non-refundable. If you pay and can’t come, you can feel free to find a bride that will pay you for what you paid. If you can’t find one, it cant be refunded. We are really sorry about this!


For those ladies attending the wine event Weds you can bring your money with you then. I will try and pick up a receipt book so you have proof of payment so you are more comfortable.

The deadline for payment will be October 10th 2012.

If you have any questions about the event, ideas, etc please feel free to post them here. Also stay tuned for Eunified’s post about vendor requests and donations.

We send out letters to all of the vendors & they donate prizes. With every ticket, you get a certain number of raffle tickets & you can place them into the prizes you wish to win (similar to LIW). We'll also be playing some bridal shower games.

Here ladies I made a website for the event. I'll keep updating as we get more vendors to donate prizes so you ladies can see all the awesome raffles. I'm so excited.

Thanks The last time I did an event like this I learned that vendors are more likely to donate when they get free publicity from it. Hope this helps to get us many wonderful raffles

Also, last year all of the 2012 brides thanked all LIW vendors on the VHB board so that could be something we do as well to thank them.

Love the website! Your doing a great job.

BTW on the website it says the shower starts at 1 but on this forum it says 2
