2013 Venue Quotes

Hi Girls. So I'm sure people always ask about quotes but I've been engaged almost 3 months now and just now starting to plan my wedding.

I'm trying not to spend a crazy amount on a wedding so I was looking at more affordable venues and probably at a November 2013 date. I only want to look at venues I think I can afford. Does anyone have any quotes for Swan Club, Thatched Cottage, Verdis, Jericho Terrace, Leonards or Lombardis? I'm pretty flexible and willing to do Sundays.

Thanks! Any other venue suggestions would be great too. I've called a few and gotten an idea of price but not too concrete and will make appointments but I want to make sure to not waste time seeing something way out of price range. Or if there is a better venue/price available.

Leonards, Jericho Terrace and Lombardi's are VERY expensive. I'd imagine they'd even be so for a November wedding.

Crest Hallow may be a place to check out, I think they are pretty reasonable but I don't have quotes for November. I think they were 90 ++ for Friday in June.

crest hollow quoted me almost the same as lombardi's on the bay but lombardi's does have the option to alter the menu making it more inexpensive.chcc was more of the decor i was looking for but u cant go wrong w/ lombardi's!! def check it out and ask for sophia shes a great bm!!

I don't have a quote for any of those places, but you can find some GREAT deals in November on a Friday compared to how much it is during the summer on a Saturday.

We got lombardis on the bay to 99 p/p inclusinve for nov 2013. we ended up booking sunset harbor cuz it way wayyy cheaper and we got more for our money.

When FH and I went to LOB we were able to alter the menu. We took off 2 of the 5 dinner choices and I think it brought the price down by like $5 pp or something like that. I wonder why they didnt let you do that? I spoke with Albina at Villa tho when we were talking prices cuz we went there first..

I'm getting married October 2013 at Leonards and the menu we picked is expensive. When I heard the price I was shocked as everyone on here that is having or has had their wedding there had posted way less than a $100 per person. When we met with our BM, he showed us their top menu, which is amazing and so much food. Well worth the price we are paying. He also did tell us that they have other menus for other occasions (i.e. christenings, sweet 16s) that you can use as your wedding menu and that's why the prices are a lot less. I hope that helps. I looked at Crest Hollow and Westbury Manor for November 2013 before booking with Leonards. I have their quotes at home. If you FM me I'll look when I get home tonight. I think CH wanted $85/90 for a Friday in November and WM wanted around the same. The BM at CH wouldn't budge on the price or throw anything in for us, we even had to pay extra per person to have Coronas served. It would be an extra $10 for the Vienese Hour but at WM, the BM I met with was willing to lower the price and throw in a fruit and dessert stations. We also wanted a certain beer to be served as our families like Corona and CH is was an extra $2 per person, however at WM they could do it without an extra charge. Overall, WM will work with you. Our BM at CH didn't.
