2014 Bride E-shoot questions/vent

Has anyone done JUST engagement photos with a photographer? What was the cost? I am looking for an average price for a Nassau County shoot for an hour. The photographer I booked with for engagement pics just informed me that I will be charged an extra $100 JUST because the pictures are in Nassau, even they have a Nassau County office the town over from where my pictures will be taken. Any thoughts/advice suggestions on how to fight this?

Our engagement shoot was part of our package, but I know she's local and really works with you if you wanted to call her just for a quote. Were you looking to go with someone else at this point? We went with Liz from White Pear.

I'm doing my e shoot in no with s photographer out here and my wedding photographer is from Li. I am paying $300 for my eshoot.
