I am a 2014 Bride. My fh and i are about to start looking for venues i wanted to know if anyone can give us some advice on what their experiences have been like when it came to... Woodbury Country Club Fox Hollow Leonard's Palazzo Giorgio's watermill Are there any places we might be overlooking if so please tell us. We plan on inviting 100 people but we are only going to pay for 80 people just in case if some people cancel at the last minute. We are both social work grad students and will be graduating next year 2014, which means we are on a budget. we want to mary June 2014. we are looking for venue that has great food, service and ambiance along with a great price.

I haven't been to any of those venues so I can't give any advice but I would also check out the Swan Club. They have all the things you're looking for and I'm sure the price won't be that bad. I'm getting married there a week before you so I have quotes but it's for the biggest room so it might not help that much but if you want it, let me know.

You might have trouble with woodbury, there minimum is 150, if you do a Saturday day or Sunday they might work with you a little but I'm not sure. Last year my brother got married at giorgios and its beautiful there, they got married on a Thursday with about 100 people, but I think they're minimum is usually higher. I would look into east wind because they have a bunch of different rooms and the lessons properties. Happy planning!

Fox hollow has a smaller room which they had a lower minimum for. Prices for a Friday or Sunday were really good.
I am bias towards Giorgio's because I am getting married there in Novemember. It is absolutely gorgeous. They gave us a minimum of 100. I am not sure about prices for June. The are very flexible so it may be worth a shot to see if they will move on the minimum.

I chose smithtown landing country club bc we are on a budget and the place is beautiful. They gave us 90 person minimum and I'm sure they would go lower. They're all so nice and friendly there. You should check them out
I went with the mansion at west sayville because the food is delicious (its a lessings so how can you really go wrong?!) and they gave a great deal!
I also only have a guarentee of 100 but I'm inviting about 175 (but I told him 150 because the list has gone up...).
I HIGHLY recommend giving Steve a call at the mansion!

I had to guarentee 125 for the smaller room at Watermill, however the place is GORGEOUS and food is yummy (what we have tasted). =)

I love giorgios! It's gorgeous and the food is always something the guest talk about. If you are willing to do an afternoon wedding the price and guarantee will be less than if you want a night time wedding.

Crest hollow was way under our budget but they had many weddings going on. We fell in love and booked woodbury country club but their min is 150. I'm also a graduate social work student graduating next May and marrying my love. Good luck!
