2016 Brides?

I booked my photographer yesterday!!! We are probably using a family friend for the DJ so that is almost good to go. I think we are going to go with Black Dahlia for flowers because she was so knowledgeable and wasn't trying to get me to spend a ton money.

Good to see some other 2016-ers popping up! We have been engaged since May of this year and booked April 29, 2016 at The Bourne Mansion within a month. At first I felt crazy to book so far ahead but now it's nice to know 2016 is getting booked up…We are taking everything nice and slow, first got our DJ and are now up to booking our florist. Anyone done this part yet? Any quotes out there?

Ahh, we booked the Bourne for a month before you!!! I'm so excited, I LOVE our venue! :D I haven't started looking at florists yet but I've been getting e-mails from the preferred ones. I'm doing photographer (just booked last week) and band right now and will focus on everything else once the holidays are over.

2016 Brides?

Love the 2016-ers!!!! We did venue soon after we got engaged in June and just did photograoher about a month ago. Next is DJ (anyone have quotes for either Unique or Body rock??) and then I feel like I'm going to relax a little until after holidays as well!! Happy planning to everyone!

I'm a little crazy but we did venue in May (got engaged in April) and then booked DJ, photographer, and florist by August/September! lol We just wanted to lock in all the prices and get our choice of vendors.

Totally no crazy! We got engaged in August and venue was booked in 3 weeks haha! Brothers a DJ for Absolut so his gift to me is the DJ. Booking Photographer in the next week or two and then flowers hopefully by Christmas. I just want to guarantee that we get who we want and have ample time to pay it off! Glad I'm not the only one ahead of the game my FH was starting to think I'm nuts! hshs

I am going to show FH this post to prove to him that I am not insane! Things book up quickly! We've been engaged almost a year now and we did the venue in march, photographer in May, then Videographer and DJ last month, and now I want to start on flowers and he thinks I'm bananas! But prices are going up in 2015 for a lot of places and I just want it done! He thinks I'll be bored with nothing to think about if we book everything now.

I remember coming to this board and I was the only 2016 bride along with a 2017 bride! This is so exciting! I wish they would get moving on our board!

That's so sad! I can see why though, they're definitely not as active as they used to be or nearly as active as Brides Helping Brides :(

yayy 2016 brides!! We are getting married at the Larkfield 4/24/16... thanks for the tip on capture the moment prices going up I'm going to meet with them asap so i can get the 2014 price!!
