22 down, 17 to go (again).

Original post by jannshari

Finally got my tush back in gear and back on WW and lost 5 pounds last week. I know a good 3-4 pounds of it was water weight, but hey, whatever brings the number down. Now I've got about 9 months to lose the other 34. Hopefully, it will come off as quickly as it did my first time on WW (20 lbs. in 2.5 months).

Just wanted to share and make sure it was out there so someone can remind me of this when I'm feeling all hope is lost in a few weeks or months!

Down another pound. Unfortunately, not in much of a celebratory mood. Thanks for remembering, X!

Well congrats and I hope you feel better..

Did you end up getting really sick that one day you took off as a mental health day?

By the way you asked us to remember to keep you in check. Just doing my part.

No, I didn't get sick. I think I'm allergic to my office. FH is really sick though (involving past medical history and not just a bug). And I meant it when I said thanks for remembering. I wasn't being snarky or anything.

Hey snarky woman... Hope all is well. Tell Adam I said I hope he feels better and to just 'hang in there' God knows it's tough.

I hope you're still on to check in with us on your progress!

Re: 15 down, 24 to go (-2.0 this week)

I'm not really officially back, for the most part, but figured that it would still be nice to have a place to report my progress, so that it will help keep me on track and will maybe help others as well.

Anyway, thanks for being supportive!

2 pounds down this week (as of Tuesday). Stress does a body good!

Re: 21 down, 18 to go!

Since my last visit here, I've lost another 6 pounds, so I'm now at 21 pounds lost and 18 to go! There's no way I'll get there for my new wedding date, but if I lost another 8 by then I'd be happy!

Can we start bothering you on Tuesdays again?

Re: 21 down, 18 to go!

Please do!

I'm still the same this week. Gained last week (totally deserved as I completely ate like a pig), and I'm back down to the same place I was last time I posted.

I'd like to lose 8 more pounds in 51 days. That's about a pound a week. I think I can do it, but I'm going to have to really be good between now and then!

One of these days you gotta tell me this WW program info. I mean what *is* it? Seems to be working for you and all I really want to do is lose 10lbs by Oct. Just 2lbs a month. Seems like that shouldnt be difficult.

*sigh*

It's really NOT difficult, but it is a major adjustment. You wouldn't believe how many points the things that you eat are, and in my weight range (and yours as well), you only get 20 points per day. To put it in a little perspective, a Big Mac is 14 points and medium french fries are 10 points. You could eat more than a day's allotment of points in one meal. There is more to the program than that, and if you're willing to make the adjustment and weigh and measure your food to be certain you're counting the right amounts, I'll be happy to give you information. You can also join online for only $15 a month and get a wealth of info there as well.

Re: 21.5 down, 17.5 to go!

Before Xel starts hounding me again...down 0.5 pound. Not bad considering I'm having a really hard time sticking with it on the weekends. That's what happens when you're stuck in the house all day doing nothing and don't have the forethought to take something out of the freezer to defrost!

But I'll take it!
