2/21 Wedding Review
Hi Everyone! The wedding was wonderful and was more than I could have imagined—Just wanted to share my vendor reviews with everyone—
Hair—Kathy at Vincent Bruce Salon A++
I know I am a pain in the you know what when it comes to my hair, but Kathy did such a beautiful job. I decided to switch my hair the day of the wedding from what we did at the trial. She took in stride and did a beautiful job. She really is an excellent hair stylist and I highly recommend her!
Makeup-Michelle Cook A++
Michelle is excellent. She knows what she is doing, and I loved the way she did my makeup. Her work speaks for itself.
Linda Lane (makeup for bridesmaids) A++
Linda is relatively new to LI, but I heard about her on the board. I hired her b/c she only charges $20 for makeup, and I knew that my BM’s didn’t want to spend too much on makeup. Well Linda amazed me with her work—She did an excellent job on all of the girls—And I was so happy with her work. My girls all loved her—Besides being a great makeup artist, she is also a wonderful person.
Flowers Michele A++++
John did an excellent job. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous—People could not stop raving about them. I am so happy I picked John as my florist, and to you girls who are looking, check him out. His work is AMAZING!!! You can’t go wrong with John!
Steven Files Photography A+++
Steve is wonderful to work with. It’s so important to have a photograph that you get along with really well, and Steve is it! I can’t imagine him NOT getting along with anyone!! I should get my proofs back this week, but I know they will be great. He did my sister-in-laws wedding, and her pictures were stunning.
Reception--Wyndham Wind Watch Hotel-A++++++
I have to admit that I was a little nervous as I have never been to a wedding at the hotel, and it is never mentioned on the boards. But everything was absolutely fabulous. The service was top-notch, the food was wonderful, and the accommodations were great. The ballroom is perfect for larger weddings. We had 310 people at the wedding, and everyone was seated comfortably with plenty of room.
Band—ADA Music A+++
The band was the hit of the night. ADA is fabulous. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and they sure knew how to keep the crowd going.
Chair Covers—ABBI A++
I decided to rent chair covers from an outside vendor to save money. The covers were absolutely beautiful and created such a beautiful atmosphere.
Honeymoon: Chaa Creek and Victoria House in Belize
If you are looking to do something different, Belize is the place. It is a beautiful country. The first 4 days we were there, we spent them in the jungle at Chaa Creek. What an amazing resort. We stayed in a tree-top suite that was absolutely beautiful—food, spa, activities, service were excellent. We canoed, went horseback riding, climbed the Mayan temples and so much more. We then went to the Victoria House in Ambergis Caye and stayed in a little hut on the beach for 8 days. It was amazing. The island is tiny, and we got around by golf cart. I have never experienced anything like this before, and I cannot stop raving about it. I didn’t want to come home. J
They are few more vendors I need to list, but my husband dealt with them. I have to get the names from them. Please FM me if you would like more info on any of the vendors!!
