I was just quoted that by a makeup artist here in queens, with $100 for the trial. Is it just me or does that sound high?
ps- if anyone knows a good makeup person in the queens vicinity i would be very grateful.

thats outrageous. the highest I've heard for makeup is about $150.

i think i paid 40 for my trial, and day of is 150. and thats one of the top artists on this site!

That's how much I'll be paying as well. It is a little pricey but in my opinion she's worth it. I went on 5 make-up trials. At my last one she actaully listened to what I wanted instead of doing what she wanted and I loved my make-up. Good luck!

Yea that is high. My make up trial was 40 bucks and day of was 150

I've heard higher, but that's still pretty high!
I'm sorry, no suggestions in Queens, but I'm using Denise from Angel Eyes. $40 trial, $125 day of, and she's coming to me.
I loved her work!

Oksana is located in queens (but she travels to you the day of) and she comes VERY highly recommended.
