250 bucks for makeup???

I was just quoted that by a makeup artist here in queens, with $100 for the trial. Is it just me or does that sound high?

ps- if anyone knows a good makeup person in the queens vicinity i would be very grateful.

I am having my friend who used to work for Estee Lauder do my make up. I still think that $250 is high though. if anyone wants my friend Info let me know. She is great!!!

I'll admit it, i paid that much, but the results IMO were amazing.

I think we both used Anne DeMarco!! And I have my trial already and she is definitely worth it.....

I'm using Anne as well - I'll admit it's a lil pricey, but it's sooo worth it. Her work is amazing!

I'm paying $150 but I know my make-up artist just raised her prices to $250 which I think is too much. I would not have booked her at that price.

Shop around you can find someone great at the $100-$150 range. If you don't need the make-up artist to come to you you might want to go to their salon where the prices are much more reasonable.

i found one that was $400 and i thought it was for the whole BP but it was just for teh bride!

I think it's totally unreasonable what most folks in Queens want to charge. It is the very reason why I did not book with them. You can book people who come with recommendation for much less and they comed to you the day of.
