2m - only got 2m
Wow - My wedding is two months from today and I am exhausted. We have SO MUCH left to do (our fault for procrastiting) and never get a free minute on the weekends . . . I can't wait for after the wedding when I don't know what to do with myself.
This weekend we finalized our menu at The Inn at New Hyde Park. We had our tasting two weeks ago and everything was great. My dad has worked in the restaurant industry for 30+ years and he is very picky and had a bunch of little tweaks to the main courses and they were very accomodating and understood exactly what he wanted. The menu selection went really well and we were definetely impressed with our tasting a few weeks ago. I am so happy I decided to go with The inn!
FH also bought his Tuxedo shoes (I really didn't want him to splurge on that but he found a gucci pair for a reasonable price so I gave in) and shirt and we picked out tuxedos for the guys. They will have back vests and silver ties. We also bought the parents and my bridesmaids gifts. I still have to shop for thw GM, RB and MOH.
I still have so much girls. For those of you with more time - DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. I was good about getting major vendors but WAY TOO LAX with other things! i.e. - favors, songs not selected, paper things, brides's accessories, readings, ceremony music, shoes, gifts and the list goes on and on. To top it off, I am away this coming weekend for my bachlorette and two weeks after FH is gone for his!
