Ok, as some of your know, I freaked at my last fitting cause you could see the boning of my bra showing through. So I am paniced, and I am going back again tomorrow. I need to explore all options. I guess I will see how a regular strapless bra works, or cups, I dont know! I am so worried about this. I know I wont sleep tonight!

Jenn, I am going to ask about having just cups sewn in as well. But the bra makes me look thinner, (I am not thin like you! ) Anyway I will sit in the hoop while I am there, may as well get that overwith too! I have to say, I have had enough. I want to be married already!

I wanted cups sewn into my dress too... but being last minute nelly... i can't... so on with the corset... it's not all that bad. I know what you mean about fittings... had my first one yesterday and second one on Saturday... I'm cutting it rather close (wedding's on 3/8)... hope it all gets done
I kind of like the whole fitting ordeal... i like people fussing over me... standing for 2 hours in those dreadful those... that i can do with out...

Good luck with your next fitting! I know what you mean about the bones. believe it or not, i have nightmares about the bones showing!!!!!
honestly, i have not had a fitting yet, but in anticipation of this problem I bought two different braas, plus the new barely there from Vicki C (totally backless, bascially just cups). I also bought this horrible girdle like contraption thingy which i hope NO ONE will ever see me in, but it makes clingy dresses fall absolutely perfectly!!! my advice would be to buy several different undergarment and bring them all to your fitting and just try em all!!
plus - have you checked out Victoria Secrets new bustiers and long bustiers. They have bones, but they also have this padding layer too that really helps with the bones not showing! Good luck!

don't forget to hug, sit, raise your arms over your head, dance while you're in your gown...you have to be able to do all that stuff in your gown...especially if its off the shoulder or anything like that. And post a pic!

I second Rebecca's advice! Make sure you can MOVE in the dress, how awful would it be if you were uncomfortable or constantly putting body parts back in on your WEDDING day!?!
Jump up and down a few times, sounds silly but.... also the sitting down thing is a good point, not only for the skirt, but when you sit, often, your posture is different, and the top might sag and pull where it shouldn't!

My fitting is at 5 (gulp!) I bought two other strapless bras (not long with boning) to try, there is also the cups issue. I tell ya, I hate this. I cant wait till the dress is ready. This is too stressful.

I went dress shopping last weekend and I did all of that i the shop. My mom kept saying what are you doing. I told her i am looking at myself in the mirror and doing all the motions i would do on the wedding day. I want to make sure the dress looks good.
I even had a pen that i used to throw over my head as if i was throwing the bo-k. my mom is really convinved i spend too much time on here.
definatly do everything you would do on your wedding day. walking, sitting, dancing, eating, throwing things, hugging, etc...you want to be completely comfortable
