2nd fitting.....and vent

Ok so my second fitting was today and I am unhappy about a few things...but I am not letting it get me down.

1st issue...there is a teeny tiny snag in front of dress and a dark mark. (They think from trying to iron it down...the iron made a mark??). I think they were trying to fix or iron this snag and now there is a tiny shadow in that area. Its hardly noticable straight on..I can see it when I look down and certain angles its noticeable. We complained but nothing could be done bc the owner wasn't there. Plus they already threw in extras previously so how much more can I get?

The hem was too long and they asked if I changed my shoes...nooooo I didn't! Last time I thought it was long but they said it was fine and what do u know too long! That's ok bc they will fix it. But now I need a 3rd fitting and have to take off another day of work bc it has to be wednesday before 2! I was planning on working wednesday and now I can't and I have barely squeezed enuf days in for the wedding and all travels plans I have this year!!!

Ughh...I am still happy with my dress and all but am really angry about that mark. I also missed my train back to nyc by 3 minutes bc fitting took so long and me and my mom had to sit and wait 1 hour for next train!!! Not a good day but like I said I am gonna keep my spirits up!!! I still love this dress and am so glad I found it there!

Oh I'm so sorry!!! It's great that you are staying so positive though. It stinks that you have to take off of work but it will all work out in the end. Good luck!!!

Im so sorry Jen! I can imagine how you feel! I had like 4 fittings, and it takes a toll on you. I'm sure no one will notice but you, about the snag, though they should do something about it. This is your wedding dress and it should be perfect! I cant wait to see your wedding pics because you are going to look AMAZING in that dress, so keep thinking positive!

I'm sorry it didn't go well. If it makes you feel any better I still think you look effing AMAZING in it!!!!

Thank you, thank you thank you to all of you! I literally have tears in my eyes right now...tears of happiness! You guys put me right back in my place...everything will be fine and no one will notice the spot! Thanks for your compliments...really I feel so happy now!

First ofall, I'm drunk.

Second, I SAW yoyr first fitting, pics, and i though 'oh my god, that is an awesome dress on an awesome body it odenst eeven need alterations.'

do NOT stress. I'm the most honest persone ver and it looks FAB.

Maybe one fo TWO dresses ever that made me question my choice.

stay positive that they will fix the problem

if by any chance the mark doesnt come out, get white chalk that day to cover it up. Dont worry, the second you get out of the church your dress will be filthy anyways. I freaked out when i first walked out of the church, not only was the bottom all black, but even on the sides i had big spots and then i had a big orange spot on the front of my dress from some flowers. Dont know which flowers since none of mine were orange, but it happened at the rehearsal so one of theirs. My doc took it right out too and you couldn't see.

Don't worry! Just keep thinking about how gorgeous you are going to look on your wedding day and how lucky you are to be marrying the man you love!!!!

I know its easier said than done, but think positive. You are going to look beautiful!!!

UGH Don't worry about it everything will work out.
