I did the whole second job thing. I worked from 8-5 (on average) at one job and then 6-10 at another 3 days per week. After sitting in traffic going from Syosset to Centereach and being exhausted and then having to pay for gas I found that it wasnt worth it. I just cut back in other ways.

I picked up extra hours at work. I'm a teacher so I am salaried, but I worked Saturday and afterschool programs all last year. This summer I am taking it easy though, I only have a few workshop days I will get paid for.

Well I dont know how to answer this because during the school year Im a FT teacher and I tutor. Now that its summer, I teach summer school, tutor, and work a few hrs at my moms office every week.

My FI and I both teach during the year and are working FT at a camp...my FI is also in school
