2nd prenatal visit

What happens at this visit? Does my DH have to be there? Originally I thought there would be another u/s but now I don't think so. I don't have an appt with the sono person, just the midwife. I know at my last visit they said it would be quick.

I saw and heard the heartbeat at the first visit (7 wks) but will they listen to the heartbeat again to make sure everything is ok with the baby?

I would call your doctor to find out exactly what they will be doing.. I know in the beginning I had a lot of sonograms done, and DH was always upset that he missed them...
NOW I go every 3 weeks and all they do is listen for a heart beat.. I am in and out in 10 minutes.

I called and she said no u/s but we will hear the heartbeat, urine test and that's about it
