2nd-time around

TELL ME! TELL ME!

last weekend was our 1st anniversary and we decided our trip was our gift. so we would just exchange cards. well friday our office was closed and it gave me extra time to get ready. sat (our anniv.) we are getting ready to go out to dinner and i give him his card. he looks at me with an oh sh!t face and says i don't have a card for you! then he continues to say between his two jobs and eveything he just did not have a chance. well, it turns out i freaked on the way home about it. i cried myself to sleep that night and he felt like cr@p. I told him good so did i.

so now it is friday almost a week after our anniv and no card still. dh calls me and says i am on my way to bowling and he needs me to check something out in the kitchen what could that be. turns out he got me a huge bouque of flowers. Our kitten recently broke a vase which was the first on he gave me when he sent me flowers. this bouquet was in the same type of vase. bad news though. he tried to have them delivered, but the idoit called dh and said he could not find my job and he tried to call and no body answered....BS!

i was answering the phone all day so I know if they called. dh asked if they could try again and the idoit was already on his way back from deliveries. dh said finally just deliver them here. I told dh he better go down and complain. they must be idoits to not find our place. plus i know for a fact that they did not call.
