2nd wedding question...

My aunt is getting married again, 20 years after her first wedding. It turns out it is going to be a rather big event. She booked Lombardi's on the sound....

My question is, does she get another bridal shower?

Re: 2nd wedding question...

Yup.....Well, my mom remarried. I was her MOH. I was 19 at the time. One of her girlfriend's helped me throw a small shower for her. IMO, I would at least throw a small shower being that she is having a big wedding. Is she registering? My mom did not.

Edited for spelling

That's what I was going to say ... sure, why not? But some sort of non-traditional (a tea or something) with non-traditional or not *real* gifts ...

Re: 2nd wedding question...

I think since it's 20 years later...you can have a shower for her. I'd ask her what she wants.

And for gifts, lingerie is great, maybe new monogrammed (or plain ) sheets, so she has a new start with her new hubby. She might already have a lot of things she wants..maybe have a spa shower, where all of the gifts are about pampering the bride, a manicure/pedicure/massage coupon, essential oils, a basket of lotions, maybe some nice, pampering stuff she and her new DH can share...
