The Leonards Cake... This was the freebie from my 8.26.06 wedding, I picked out a style and told them to lose the swans, columns and make it as simple as possible. Flower Michele put the flowers and cake topper on.

Also for those who had question about votives on the table, my florist was able to put them on the table.

ETA: That I had picked for salad the TRi color one and I didnt like it, My DH didnt like it and some of my guess either. I should have been save with the Ceasar instead of trying to be different.

Did you closely observe everything? and if so did they meet the standards you expected of them. I also went to a wedding there recently. I was watching like a hawk. the cake was just fine and the maitre'd seem to be on point but there were other things that concerned me..

I think it would be helpful to the brides to be if you should share the things that concerned you, so that they may ensure that it doesnt happen at their wedding?
Im also confused as to why you would question how close she (xcalystax) was observing Leonards like if she was suppose to find fault, every wedding is different.

I also want to add that I contacted maurizio to let him no about my veil and he was looking for it like crazy - he was sincere and helpful..I think had I dealt with him the day after and the Mon. before I left I would have had my veil returned to me if it was left there. But I had so much to do for the HM that I didnt follow up as well as I should have.

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.. I'd be happy to answer. Also xcalystax has it from the guests point of view which sometimes differs from the distracted bride.

This is exactly why i asked about how close one was observing. i wasn't trying to offend anyone with my post. I don't like emails or posts at times because I think a lot gets lost in the communication- tonality, body lang. that sort of thing. I think one should closely observe those things that would be common for all brides at Leonard's if they are paying money to have their event there- to ensure that their event goes well.

I avoided going into details because I'd hate to dampen anyone's spirits if they are having their event there. Secondly, I haven't spoken with Leonard's about my concerns yet. If they handle my concerns in a professional and appropriate manner then I'd hate to prematurely bad mouth them. My impression is that this won't happen.

hey how many brides of Leonard's did Valet parking...im having around 300 ppl, and i was quoted $500 if i wanted Valet parking, was it worth it, they do have an ample amount of room for parking, so just wondering...

I didnt do the valet, but I also had 120 guests. You can ask Xcalystax if parking was a pain since she was a guest.

I thought so too.. But to e honest I odnt know how my guests cars got park.. Im going to ask someone. I just know I didnt pay for it.
