Hello, I just saw a Leonard's of Greatneck Thread but it has a lot of older posts on it (not that I mind, I love to read any post on Leonard's ) I know someone else had a more recent post with up to date posted wedding dates but I can't seem to find it, so.... I decided to start a new one. I will start it off

janie and smara.....both of your cakes were beautiful! how did they taste?
I didnt taste my cake, I was too busy dancing but a few ppl told me it was good. I chose the strawberry filling and had butter cream icing. Let me know if you have any other questions.

FYI TO ALL MY 07 LEONARDS BRIDE VALET PARKING IS INCLUDED, I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MY BM AND HE TOLD ME THAT IT IS INCLUDED!!! SO LADIES CALL UR BM AND IF HE TELL YOU SOMETHING DIFFERENT GIVE THEM A TASTE OF YOUR MIND
Geez........Leonard's need to sit down with all the BM and have them be more uniform with the things they tell us!!! Thanks for the info....it does make me feel better....but who was your BM??

antonio, but i would call ur bm , because it seem like they are bs us, my wedding is in june but i just went over 63 things with antonio, im not playing , its my wedding and it has to be the way i want it

Hey girls let me pick ur brains, well I went to davids bridal on sat and if any of you ladies ever got to know me IM one of the nicest people u can ever meet, but sometime just some time u feel like saying something to that's not SO nice to people! My CO worker is getting married and she came with me for a fitting of my dress, SO she started to look and she tried on this dress that she just fell in love with, but here is one problem its SO ugly I mean butt ugly. I know everyone has their own taste and everything but its sooo ugly!! Well today she ask me 'oh Diana what did you think about the dress?' Thank god I had to pick up the phone at that moment but I know she is going to ask me again. What should I say to her, the truth or lie and say she look nice!!!!

I totally understand where you are coming from with this one. I think sometimes we assume that what one bm tells us is true for all but their should be some sort of uniformity especially regarding policies at leonard's. I remember one bm told me i must have liability insurance for all vendors no matter what, then another said that that wasn't necessarily the case, and finally, after telling the first BM that I spoke with someone else he said it was ok. confusing enough? imagine how i felt. I like when things are cut and dry without being vague -no rooom for interpretation, even if i don't agree with it, at least I know how to proceed. I have not had a bad experience with them yet, i just feel a lil nervous at times.

So far, I've not had any problems yet with my BM! The reason I say YET is because of other stories I hear! Let's keep our fingers crossed. So, how did everything go with you? Were you able to sell off your wedding date? I hope all is well!!! BTW, I'm meeting with the officiant you recommended this Friday!!!

I couldnt have said it better... This board seems to be turning more stressful. There so much involved in planning.!!

i went to lenoards tonight and loved loved loved it...a few questions that i forgot to ask...do they do food tastings before u book? do they have an outside area in the back to take pictures? i loved the quote i got and i loved my banquet manager...the only thing im concerned about is the amt of rooms they have and running into different parties..i would be in the room on the left on the first floor and also my cocktail room is on the very right which is the empire room so there is only 4 rooms on the first floor and the rest are on the other floor...has anybody ever been there and was it chaotic in the lobby??

I tried the food tasting before I booked. It was delicious! I think theres a a small outside area with a little garden. It's not very big.
