#2 DOes the Best Man have to come in with the groom or can I use him to escort?

#3 DOes the Best man have to escort the MOH?

Usually the MOH walks by herself after fg/rb

Best man is usually up at the altar beside groom & doesn't walk down aisle.

I would think if he did walk down the aisle it would be w/ MOH...

usually the MOH walks down the aisle alone. i am not sure about the Best Man walking the bride down the aisle - but usually the best man is up @ the altar with the groom ahead of the rest of the BP.

We are trying to decide if the guys will walk in with the girls or not. If they don't, ALL the guys will be at the altar w/ BM and FH. If they DO walk in w/ the girls, the BM and FH will be at the altar.

Another option FH's mom wants is, she wants to walk FH down the aisle. If this happens, and the guys are also walking w/ girls, BM will follow FH solo.

You can have whatever you like.. its your day but I think this is the protocal:

#1 Does the MOH come down by herself??? Yes

#2 DOes the Best Man have to come in with the groom or can I use him to escort? He should be waiting up there with the Groom, but isnt written in stone.

#3 DOes the Best man have to escort the MOH? at the recessional and in the Reception Intro.

I have a MOH and a Matron of Honor. My Moh will walk down by herself or with My matron of Honor's escort - havent decided. My Matron of Honor (Sister) will be walking me down. BM will be with my FH at the alter & will escort my MOH at the end of the ceremony. HTH

But remember its your day, your way!!

We're doing things a little different.... our order of service is as follows.....

MOB and MOG are seated

Clergy processional

Groom walks down with his two best men

bridesmaids walk down with two groomsmen( i have 6 groomsman and 3 bridesmaids)

Matron of Honor walks down

Maid of Honor walks down

Ring bearer and flower girl walk down

Bride's processional

it's your day and you can do whatever you want in whichever order that you want

we were thinking about having DH walk with his mom down the aisle, i think that it would be a special moment for the two of them!!

I think its totally up to you.
I have not totally worked out the details, but I think I am going to have all the members of the bridal party walk down the aisle by themselves. FH will walk down the aisle with both his parents, and so will I.
