Obviously, the fact that our personalities mesh, we have an unconditional physical & emotional love forone another and can make each other laugh help build us, but what really makes us strong is; Mutual trust Constant & clear communication and, we are still always trying to impress each other

I believe that communication is the key to a good relationship. We're always honest and open with each other. We've been together for 6+ years and have gone through a lot (family issues, deaths of loved ones, grad school, etc.), it's how we react and act during these hard times that lets me know we can make it through anything.
I'm the emotional, outgoing, hyper one and he's the shy, laid-back one. We balance each other.

I think FH and I share a lot of qualities people here have already mentioned similar interested, opposite personalities, strong communication, can appreciate each other's sense of humor, always make the other person smile and put them first...
We're emotional book ends... often our emotional response to things is complementary.... I'm crying, he want to hold/protect me, his screaming when he's upset, provokes me to talk clam, logic and rational to him..

We are complete opposites when it comes to certain things but in other ways we are exactly the same! We definitely know how to talk to each other and we RESPECT each other which I think is so important these days.
