Today's question: Tell me about your engagement ring! Stone, shape, setting, etc. Pictures (aka EYE CANDY) are strongly encouraged. Also, what are you planning to get as your wedding band?
Answer: My e-ring is a simple 6 prong solitaire with a round diamond. The thin band tapers in slightly by the diamond and gives the entire ring such a delicate look. It is exactly what I wanted and I fall in love with it more every day. I plan on getting a diamond eternity band for my wedding band. This is exactly what I want though I highly doubt we will purchase it at Tiffany

Here is the best shot of it, the day after we got engaged, hence my horrendous nails and it was too tight on my chubby fingers. lol
After it was sized/ after I got a manicure! lol
So my Ring is a round center diamond, 10 round diamonds in a halo/flower around it, and a split shank band with even more round diamonds. lol
I am absolutely in love with it, I sometimes look down and can't believe just how much I love it! lol When I would dream up a ring/internet stalk I always imagined a Cushion cut or Emerald cut ring but never picked one out.. FH designed this one himself! He did run it past my sister (smart man) first but all he worked off of is knowing I wanted a vintage look/unique setting. And now, I can't imagine having any other ring. It's like somehow he knew what I wanted when I didn't even realized I wanted it! lol
For a wedding band I want something really thin, so I can wear it with my E-ring. Since its a split band Its on the thick side, and I don't want to over whelm my finger with two thick rings..I would like to find something similar to the band on the E-ring..Thin and with round diamonds. We are actually supposed to go looking soon I'm super excited lol.

FH designed a GORGEOUS! Round stone, 4 prong, with a petite halo and split shank! We went looking for rings maybe 2 or 3 times together and I was always drawn to the split shank halo. The stone is magnificant, its so sparkley!
As for my band.. .no idea yet!.. I am thinking of doing an insert -
I don't know much about my ring. It was FH's mothers ring that she left to him when she passed away last May. It's 4 prong round stone with baguette diamonds on the side in a platinum setting. Pics are in my albums.
I really want an eternity band for my wedding ring, but that may look weird since my E-ring doesn't have diamonds all around. I definitely want a plan band too that I can wear when I'm being a bum lol.
I got my dream ring! It's the Tiffany setting 6-prong solitaire.
And we just purchased our bands not too long ago; Tiffany 3.5mm shared-setting band, excuse my dirty ring!:

Great question! I love talking about my ring. It's a cushion cut diamond with a halo and a very think band. I'm absolutely in love with it! As for my wedding band we actually just went the other day to look. I decided on a ring that matches my engagement ring. I love it because it has diamonds on three sides!
This is mine! It's a cushion cut diamond with 4 prongs in a halo setting. I never went to look at rings with my FH, and he picked it out all by himself, which made it even more breathtaking and special :)
I attached 3 pics- the first two are of my ring on my hand, and the last one is what I want for a wedding band. It really bothers me to just have one wedding band with this style ring because then it won't look centered, so I want either just two separate bands to put on either side, or one of those 'puzzle piece' bands that the e-ring can fit inside of

FH designed my ring completely by himself. He actually built a ring better then I could have ever imagined. I stare at it all the time STILL!
The ring is just over 2.5 carats total. The center stone is round 1.5 carat stone with 5 smaller diamonds on each side of the band.
its freaking beautiful if I dont say so myself!
As for a band I plan to go back to the jeweler FH used and have him make a band to match perfect with the side stones of the ring.

My ring has a round diamond with 6 heart shaped prongs. In between each prong, there are two diamonds stacked on top of each other. The band is a thin band with 13 smaller diamonds on each side and it tapers off closer to the diamond, which is exactly what I wanted.
As for the wedding band, I plan on getting an eternity band that matches my engagement ring.

I told FH what i wanted, but he tweaked it a bit and I couldn't love it more! It's a 6-prong round diamond, with 5 tiny diamonds on each side. I plan on getting a half eternity wedding band to match!

That is who we use!!!! That is TOO funny. My dad has been going to him for over 20 years so when FH asked him to marry me, my dad said come with me to my guy! haha Dennis is a sweetie!
