Since you have been engaged, how has your personal spending changed? Do you save your entire paycheck and put it in the weddingfund? Do spend your whole check on clothing and partying? How has your money magagment changed?
we set up a weekly budget for play money for each of us and a budget for groceries - no more just buying stuff we want unless its wedding related. We dont' carry our debit or credit cards on us, just our weekely cash allowance. We also try to pay something toward the wedding each week if we can. But the end of the month is tough because the rent, cable, and electirc bill are all due...

I've tried to cut down on shopping. I'm a fab. shopper so as it is I always make sure I find the best deals...but I've cut down to put more $$$ in the wedding fund.

I stopped shopping and only get things that I really need!!! We also stopped eating out to save money!!!

i completely have cut out the non-essentials as much as possible. no more mani-pedis for me instead of sticking money into my savings account, a few hundred bucks a month, he direct deposits from every paycheck and i dump in as much as i can. thank god i have free overdraft protection because ive put so much into savings a few times that i end up overdrawing on my regular checking account!! we've been taking advantage of gift cards too as the only times we go out to eat and i almost never go shopping. my feelings on the bar scene becoming old has fortunately coinsided with my inability to spend tons of money at the bars anymore! i genuinely love just staying in with FH so this works out very well. if anything we have people over for dinner or drinks which i love entertaining too..

I've been putting some money aside for wedding expenses and cut down on all of the concerts I would go to. I've been to hundreds of shows in my life, so I made a rule for myself - no seeing a band in concert if I've seen them already, with the exception of my favorite band.
Gotta say, we haven't really been to any shows since getting engaged - and only have two concerts coming up in October. It's helped the wedding fund TREMENDOUSLY. I'm itching for some live music though in the worst way
Also cutting back on the clothing purchases. After losing on WW last year, I bought a bunch of stuff before the engagement, so I have a decent amount of 'newer' clothes.
We cut back on going out too...but this summer we've been out a lot with our friends. Now that Ramadan is starting (tomorrow) and lasts for a month, we'll be more on the downlow with partying, since FH observes the holiday.

honestly it hasn't changed. i've never spent money like crazy. i dont go shopping to often, party only here and there lol so i save away . but of course it's going towards the wedding.

My spending has gotten worse! I lost weight and now I want to buy myself all new clothes! LOL
I actually was able to save all the money for our vendors and rehearsal dinner with my bonuses and tax return, so I havent really had to change how I spend. FH needs to save for the honeymoon...so his spending will change drastically very soon
