<3 QUESTION OF THE DAY 3/29/11 <3
Good morning my brides to be! I hope you all had some wonderful rest. I personally went to bed way too late and then awoke when future hubby was ransacking the closet to find his work attire ... which of course got me thinking. While that was not the best wake up call I started to think about all the amazing things future hubby does for me. The silly, romantic, thoughtful things ... perhaps which I needed to since I was a total crank pot being woken up.
***
Onto today's question ... What does future hubby do/has done that is just too sweet? That shows you chivalry isnt dead? That perhaps showed you he was the one? Or that might make us other 2011 girls swoon with envy?
***
For me, future hubby does so many little things it would be hard to list them all. Packs me a lunch (even with snacks) when a long day awaits, wipes off my car before he leaves in the morning if its snowy ... But what stands out the most was when I was diagnosed about 2 years ago with Lyme Disease - unfortunately right when we reconnected. It was a beyond difficult time for me and at times continues to be a struggle. People really dont understand what it can do to you body for it varies from person to person. I was diagnosed with chronic lyme after take a number of families raising autistic children camping ... it changed my life forever.
Amidst various medical appointments and testing, future hubby wanted to take me to the mall. After all, Ann Taylor Loft lifts the spirits even if momentarily! I had lost entire control of my right leg from the hip to the knee - it was completely numb. I was dizzy and lightheaded all the time. It was horrific. Without prompting, future hubby parked the car right in front of the door, helped me walk to a bench and sat me down while he parked the car. It was such a simple gesture, but one I will never forget. He never made me feel badly when I couldnt walk too fast or couldnt spend time with either of our friends. He knew just how much I wanted to be there. People who had been a part of my life for *years* couldnt understand, but without hesitation future hubby did. I knew then just how much I was going to love this boy
Talk about 'in sickness and in health'! Which btw, WONT be a part of our vows. I would be HYSTERICAL!
