Does your FH Know how to cook? If so does he distroy the kitchen in the process? Do you know how to cook? I do most all of the cooking, & I don't mind. I love cooking, not only for the two of us, for friends also. FH is a good cook, thank god he doesn't cook that much. When he's does cook it looks like a BOMB went off in the kitchen. I wish he would cook more, but than again.........what a slob. How is it possable to get gravy on the ceiling?

fh does not cook lol..i do the cooking..the only thing i make him do is bbq bc i def dont do that...i try not to make a mess tho when i cook...i enjoy it..i think its fun and i always try to cook sumthing different...watching fh try to cook is very cute tho bc he trys so hard

fh thinks he knows how to cook.i mean he likes his cooking. i refuse to eata nythign he makes. his idea of gourmet is pouring in wine AND hot sauce.. to the point where the entire house smells like azzz.
i do all the cooking. we host every holiday and i do all the cooking.

FH only knows how to cook if it involves the microwave-I'm not lying. So no he does not do the cooking, I do all the cooking, unless he is just making something for himself

Yeah, mine also thinks he knows how to cook. I love to cook and have been cooking for myself since I became a vegetarian at 12 (my mom was like, learn to cook or eat what I make, and so I learned) so I have a good handle on things in the kitchen. FH just kind of throws things in a pot and adds spices...
I'm also a control freak in the kitchen so he's just kinda not allowed in mine unless he's doing something useful like opening the wine.

yes he makes a disaster out of the kitchen when he cooks & it drives me crazy because i am a neat freak.
i only know how to cooks things that go into boiling water (pasta, blanched vegetables, potato's). i can also scramble eggs & fry bacon like no body's business.

fh is pretty good at cooking...he is much better than me! i dont really cook unless its really simple. FH is usually the one who does it bc he is better at experimenting and cooking without recipes. He doesn't usually make a mess....i probably make a bigger one when i try to cook bc i get flustered!!

OMG same with us, we would totally survive on sandwiches, I hate cooking and have very little patience for it! only I can also make a mean salad FH is in charge of cooking, and he makes the best steaks in the entire world! yummmm he makes a big mess, a huge one actually, all th counters by the end of it full of eggs, butter, oils, sauces, crumbs and anything and everything, but then after we eat he cleans the sht out of everything, so I don't mind.

FH can't cook to save his life
BUT somehow manages to destroy the kitchen anyway (like making himself a salad - don't count that as cooking - there'll be lettuce on the floor, bacon bits in the stove burners, dressing spilled on the counter...)
I LOVE TO COOK - I would have loved to do it for a living!!!

FH prefers to make breakfast and snacks. He's not big on cooking meals.
He doesn't leave a mess at all; he actually cleans up right after he finishes in the kitchen. Sometimes I wait until I eat and then I clean up or I clean up while the food is cooking.
I love to cook and bake. People always say they don't have to worry about him because he will be well fed.

Well FH does know how to cook but since im a trained chef i do all the cooking as well as private parties and catering. FH has cooked - maybe 4 times for me - once was for our 2nd anniversary, 1 time was the day i came home from the hospital after having our daughter and then maybe 1 or 2 when i was sick.... hes good at it though his breakfasts are unbeatable.

the both of us= no not really lol.. FH will cook himself easy meals like pasta w/ jarred sauce, rice, chicken, etc. Same with me.. iw ill cook myself chicken w/ steamfresh veggies, or a baked potato .... so we will prob continue to eat like this when we are married and living together

i love to cook wanted to be a chef hence i will be on ww the rest of my life...when i met fh he spent weeks telling me what a great cook he was and how he used to make all the gourmet things in the italian deli he worked in....in 3.5 years he has cooked for me one time and it was pasta with butter!!!!! however on a side note when i cook i destroy the kitchen!!!!

FH loves to cook and really enjoys it! He makes his own sauce, makes soup from scratch, makes a very delicious carrot cake ...it's really great and I am very happy about it!
Although, question #2 ...this part I hate - ALWAYS a huge mess, pots & pans. So, yes the kitchen is always destroyed...which is probably why I don't like to cook. It's hard to enjoy a nice meal knowing a huge mess is waiting to be cleaned!
As for me, I enjoy baking but as per cooking dinners and real cooking, I am learning but really never had much of an interest in cooking, but I try to cook for us sometimes, and I clean along the way.

FH's job is a chef so he is great at cooking. Cleaning...not so much!
