I think you MIGHT have a possibility, but not with any of the LIwedding vendors. The most affordable I found was DUET and that was a little over 4,000.

that really depends what you are getting and how popular the vendor is i think. perhaps if you are cutting out albums, enlargements, e-pic shoots?

What exactly are you looking for? I know 12th night has a package of only 1 photographer and 1 DVD (no album). ~ Cant remember the price...I'm thinking in the 2K's. Def. do your research. Good luck :)

Defenetely possible, but the post before is right, not with the same 10 vendors that always appear here. Mine is a vendor here, but not as well known as the rest and I got mine for a little less than that and it included a photog, video, all digital images (no albums), e-pics for 7.5 hrs. I think just a little more would be more realistic. I am going with Marcho photography and his rates for video are I think $1700 and then photography for one of the less expensive pacakges I think it was $2600. and then $300 for digital photographs.

Just be careful if it is not a LIW vendor. My FH's close friend never got their wedding pictures! The guy ran off with the money after the wedding. They have not been able to get in touch with him

I didn't think it was possible but FH thinks our quote for $5,400.00 was too high. I think that's the normal price range. We would like to spend around $4,000.00.

I got that quote from Velvet Studios. It was for one photographer, pics on a cd, nothing printed by them, and then edited video. Also, Duet was running a 10% off for winter weddings when I contacted them which would've made their photo/video package $3600. Good luck!

Ok first off if its not an LIW vendor doesnt mean they arent a valid or very good photographer...people seem to be scared off when it comes to thinking outside the box on vendors that arent 'LIW approved' there arent only 50 photographers all across Long Island.
If you find a photographer and you trust them, love their work and feel comfortable with them-BOOK! Definitely make sure you ask for references but if you are happy with their work and the $$ then go for it.
It is definitely possible if you cut a few corners-albums, enlargements etc.

Just because a photographer/dj/makeup artist/limo company, etc. is an LIW vendor does NOT necessarily mean that it is the 'cream of the crop' - TRUST ME! What it means is that the company has PAID liw $$$ to advertise here. Every company/service will have its negative as well as positive reviews, but don't be foolish enough to believe that just because someone advertises on this site that they are the best or even reputable.

i think thats great...i had thats same winter discout with duet and got 2 photogs and 2 video for 10 hours plus album and print outs and cds.dvds...and all that good stuff fot $3500 plus tax!
