What can I get for them? I wanted to throw a surprise party but i am too broke

any suggestions?

i was going to suggest a trip!
but, that would be just as much...
we (fh, me, his bro and wife) took my FIL's out to a fancy dinner and a broadway show for their 40th...

I don't know where you live .... but San Marco Restaurant in Hauppauge has an AWESOME delicious Price Fix Menu! I am not sure what days it is on, they are on Motor Pkwy. You feel like & eat like you're spending a LOT of money, but it run's you around $ 25 each for appitizer, dinner & desert!!!
