My DH's 30th birthday is fast approaching. I want to throw him a surprise 30th party. I am thinking about 60 or so people. Where should I do it? Any suggestions? I want to spend less the $5000. I am hoping for something maybe on the water, or somewhere outdoors with a nice deck or veranda. I am looking for something in Suffolk County. I am blanking as to where I could do this. I haved contacted some places.....can you suggest more?

How about the Riverview in Oakdale, Fat Fish in Bayshore or The Oar or Harbor Crab in Patchogue?

omg you HAVE to do molly malones on a weekend nite in the summer...we had our rehearsal dinner there..that place is fantastic...its on the water in bayshore and aside from the delicious food in the restaurant, they have a bar with live music that gets pretty crowded (but a fun kind of crowd) fri and sat nites!! the price is RIDICULOUSLY worth what they give you!! HTH

i would suggest the Riverview in Oakdale ... they have a beautiful outside area on the water ... very pretty ....
