<3<3 My Super Long Goodbye!! <3<3
I can’t believe it, but it’s my turn to take that walk down the aisle. My one year and two week engagement has literally flown by. I went from planning a simple wedding that was pretty basic, to ending up upgrading my menus and centerpieces, adding another album and 2nd photographer, and my favorite: adding a string quartet to my ceremony. It seems as though it was a race to the finish for me, which is typical! I got all of my vendors booked super early, and then didn’t really do anything else to the last second!! That’s where this wonderful site comes in…
Ron and Liz: Thank you so very much for creating this site for all of us brides to come together and babble on about everything wedding related! It has been such a wonderful experience to find ladies who share at least one common thread in their lives, offering ideas, support and cheers throughout this crazy experience that is planning. You both allowed this to happen. Thank you!
Qtdimps23 [Diana]: My first buddy from the knot, I am so glad that we had the opportunity to meet face to face and spend time together. You have given me many virtual hugs when things got rough and always were there to lend an ear to listen! You were an inspiration when it came to DIY projects; too bad I never tried any of my own! I sincerely hope that you can make it to my ceremony Friday. I would be so happy to see you there! You are going to be a gorgeous bride…sorry that we’ll still be in Ireland and can’t crash!! But…all the more reason to get together with the boys after your HM!! Thanks for everything sweetie!
HelenZ [Helen]: My first [and only] friend in Howard Beach! I looked forward to all of our FMs and great online conversations. How bizarre that our FHs grew up together, have the same first name, etc…so many coincidences! I had a great time getting coffee and talking about our lives!! We definitely have to do it again soon. We will definitely try and crash your ceremony! I cannot wait to see how absolutely stunning you are going to look on Saturday!! Have a blast sweetie!

ChrissynRicky [Christine]: My DOC extraordinaire!! Where would I be without you?! Probably at an Elvis chapel in Vegas! From the beautiful invites you created, to the menus, votive placecards, programs, kid’s activity books, table numbers and favor tags, you’ve done so much and put up a lot from me! I cannot wait until all is said and done, and I can take you out to dinner so we can talk for hours! Your professionalism, organization and fabulous personality have created a sense of calm throughout this process! I am so proud that you are running my show on Friday!! I heart you sweetie!!
And to all of the other ladies that I have not mentioned specifically, you have truly helped me out every step of the way. I would not have gotten to over 3500 posts if there weren’t anyone stimulating to talk to! You are the most creative, sensitive and intelligent bunch of girls, from so many different backgrounds, that I ever had the pleasure to get to know! My wedding would be so boring without you all! Thanks for all of the advice!
FH and I will be leaving for our 16-day HM to Ireland on Sunday. Hopefully I will have a chance to hop on and post some pics before we leave. And of course anyone who happens to be in the area of the Community Church of East Williston at 6pm on Friday, is more than welcome to crash our ceremony! And feel free to post pics if you do!
