Okay..... So we are basically paying for our entire wedding (minus the DJ, Photographer, and Videographer). The cost has gotten way out of control and it wouldn't be a tremendous deal if we didn't buy our house 2 years ago.... which means we are saving for a wedding and paying a mortgage and taxes on LI which is another story for another day,...

Anyway, there is one thing I had to have NO MATTER WHAT and that was my dress... It's designed by Kenneth Pool and cost more than I care to admit...

So, question is....

What was your MUST HAVE??? No matter what the cost or trouble it took you to find it or get it???

My must haves were a waterfront reception with one wedding at a time and an amazing photographer

One wedding venue location that was close to a hotel and a great photography team for all day.

The wedding itself was my must-have. Soo many people were negative about it, telling us we should just go to Town Hall and not spend the money. I said screw that! All my life, I had to sacrifice for others, I was doing this for myself and my FH! We deserve to celebrate our love, and I deserve my one big day!

Now I'm paying for it ... literally and figuratively!

My photographer! When we were looking for photographers FH didn't want us spending tons of $. I had to explain to him that after the wedding, these were the things that we would have, our photos, other than our memories.

After some fights and convincing FH, we booked the photographer I wanted!

Outdoor cocktail hour - a must for FH. Good photographer, Uplighting, Chair covers, Submerged flower centerpieces - all a must for me!

For us, it was definitely the steel drummer. We just love that island feel and since the Riviera is on the water and we had an outdoor CH, it just seemed like a perfect addition. We had so many guests compliment on how it was a nice touch and how much they enjoyed it.

Thankfully, it was worked into our budget and didn't cost an arm and a leg!

I would have to say photography and our hm. I am going to Ireland for my hm and I just don't care how much $$ it is !

a crazy amount of food (my venue) and a cathedral length train dress...I've waited one since I was little and I got it (12 feet long)!!!!

This is a hard question to answer, since I feel as though we're having the big production wedding, we need it all... (FH & I wanted to get married in Fiji but our friends & Family talked us in to a Long Island Wedding)...

We must have our families & friends there (hello guest list of 274) we want it to be convenient for everyone, so it's a Saturday night.... This isn't really a MUST have tho, so I was thinking maybe our 19night honeymoon, cruise going to exotic locals we most likely will not have the opportunity to visit again (Canary Islands)... This doesn't really feel like a Wedding MUST have either....

So I asked FH and according to my Groom, our matching wedding bands from Tiffany & Co. are the must have. we will have them long after the day is over, and they are the symbol of why we are having the wedding our love & commitment to each other How cute is he!
