39 days to go....... and PANIC just set in!!!!!!

I just signed on to look up an FM for details on one of our vendors, since I'm making final appts and payments.

And I just noticed......

THIRTY-NINE DAYS UNTIL OUR WEDDING!!!!!!



My To-Do List is still a mile long!!!!

Anyone else panicking tonight???

FH will be home soon, and we're hopefully going over music lists tonight in prep for our final DJ meeting in 2 weeks. I have preliminary lists done, but now it's time to make the final decisions.

I've been writing TY's for my shower gifts since I got home from work.

And now I'm finalizing some payments.

Next week, FH and I are going to get our marriage license.

It's all becoming so very real!!!

In 39 days, I leave Ms. S behind and become Mrs. C.

It is going to fly by!!!!! But try and relax and enjoy it and turn to your brides maids for some venting..I found it much easier to prevent problems since it didnt hurt any family members feelings

Thanks for all the replies. I think it just hit me because all week long I had that 40-something number in my head and then I saw 30s and panicked.

It's kind of hard to have my BM help me b/c I only have 3.... my 2 sisters are maid & matron of honor, and my best friend from work is my BM. Problem is...... everyone's super busy right now and I completely understand. One sis just had her first baby (our first nephew!!) last month, so she's swamped in changing diapers, feedings, and trying to get some sleep in between tons of baby laundry. My other sis is working crazy hours and has to prep for presentations at work. And my BM is a teacher like me, and 6 mos pregnant! Even though they're all busy, they have all been a great help to me along the way with things here and there.

I took on a bunch of DIY projects because I like to do them, and even though that sounds like it would be a time-consuming problem, working on them is actually fun and relaxing for me. I'm planning to finally attempt my DIY aisle runner this weekend while FH is on a business trip.

It's more so the other things, like trying to find time to go to final appointments b/c FH is going to be away most of October for business, and that's when all these appts have to happen. And then there's the RSVPs and seating chart that I know will be a problem, but I'm trying not to think about it. The RSVPs have been coming in, but we're still missing some key people who SAY they're coming, but they never sent the card. The cutoff date is next Wednesday, so I'm figuring give them a few days after that, maybe a week, and then I'll start the calls.

Tonight I updated my To-Do list and checked off a bunch of little things I took care of this past week. FH and I sorted through our playlists for ceremony/reception, so I feel better about that.

Ok maybe im way dumb but... we have to call to make the final appointments right? Or do the vendors contact us? lol I have no idea and im starting to freak out a bit..

you are not dumb... i wasnt sure if i was calling them or they were calling me.. so i just called and made all my appointments!!!
