I saw it too, and I'm in the hunt for a venue, so now it's on list. Very pretty, small and intimate, and doesn't look like your typical 'Long Island catering hall.' Lindsay's wedding was gorgeous also!

i love that show! my FH and i visited the Riviera when we went looking at catering halls...it is really nice...i love the outside cocktail hour on the water and all lights hung inside and the balcony inside! Shyremia's (the one who renewed her vows) wedding was at Windows on the Lake in Ronkonkoma if any1 wanted to know.

i've never been there, is it really as small as they said it was?

and Villa Lombaris was on a few weeks ago, did anyone see that episode? the girls were complaining at how bad the CH service was

Inn at New Hyde Park was on the show too! I recognized the waitress from my High School. It's the one with ALL the crazy buffet stations.

my cousin got married at the Riviera. Its such a beautiful place and the food is amazing.

DH and I watched. its werid to see it on tv.


like when we watch the shows and they show other places its koo. but its just werid to see where we had the wedding on tv

santos floral designs did the wedding at the riviera and thats who i am doing she is amazing! cant wait!

She had 190, which is a lot for that space. We had 125 in attendance and it was great, I think we could have comfortably gone to about 150.

And she had the DJ downstairs too. My BM told me that once they start getting close to 200 then they move the DJ upstairs to the balcony to make more room. Maybe thats why it was so tight.
I'm hoping that my 140 is the perfect amount!

we noticed that the weddings seemed to all have DJ's. my fiance and would like a band; i'm thinking we should probably consider getting a smaller one b/c of the size of the vendor.

do you think a 7 piece band is too large for that space if we have 150 guests?

Finally watched it! It's sooooo weird to see the venue on TV! LOL

I loved that she did the same thing with the paper lanterns under the outside umbrellas like we are doing and I just got so excited for the steel drummer and the CH food!

I think it should be OK, but I guess it depends on what kind of setup they bring with them!

Are you getting married there the day after me? AWESOME!
