She had 190, which is a lot for that space. We had 125 in attendance and it was great, I think we could have comfortably gone to about 150.
150 is the number we are hoping for (actually less would be even better). At most, we would like to keep it at 160

yep... i booked for the day after yours... i'm getting excited even though it's still a ways away. and after seeing the riviera on the show last week, i'm only that much more confident that we made the right choice for us in selecting it as our venue. i LOVED what i saw!!!

we had 163 people at the wedding and i think that is a perfect number. i personaly would do a dj, we wanted a band but i dont know how we would have fit a band if we did it. with the dj and our table in the other corner, it was the perfect amout of room on the floor. ill post pictures later when i get home

we noticed that the weddings seemed to all have DJ's. my fiance and would like a band; i'm thinking we should probably consider getting a smaller one b/c of the size of the vendor.
do you think a 7 piece band is too large for that space if we have 150 guests?
I didn't feel the dance floor was tight when I was at Lindsay's wedding. It only felt a little tight during the dinner hour if you had to get up and go to the bar or restroom, b/c everyone was sitting down and it was the sitting area that felt a little tight.

I can't wait to see them! And we do have a DJ so that's no problem.
How did you like having your table in that corner by the dancefloor? I was thinking of putting us there instead of that middle section when you walk into the dancefloor. I figured this way we can look out to everyone and see everything that is going on and people can see us. Did you also have 2 more tables in front of you guys or were you the only ones in that corner?

We're working on seating now...
I orignally thought I wanted us in the middle section - but table wise, it makes most sense for us to be in the corner...and we've decided to not have tables next to us so it wouldn't close in the dance floor.
This way the tables are a bit more spread out and no one will have to be in the awkward space. We have 130 people...

I am actually hoping that if we do sit in that corner by the dancefloor that there won't be a need for the 2 tables either. I would like to maybe just put the cake table next to us and the cardbox. If we do happen to need the two other tables there than we'll probably sit the BP there
