Hi all I am new here! My husband and I just found out we are 4 weeks pregnant and the Drs keep stressing how early on it is and almost seem like they want to tell me not to get too excited! Has anyone else experianced this? He told me if anything happens I should concider myself lucky becaus I got pregnant after 2 months.

Congratulations!If you don't feel comfortable with your dr, there is nothing wrong with switching. Its very important that you feel confident with your dr.
I wouldn't let the dr get you stressed out.
When I first found out I was pregnant, the dr I saw made me feel very uncomfortable too.
(The dr I wanted to see was unavailable so they set me up with a different one that day.)
Anyway, the dr didn't even say 'Congratulations, you are pregant.' Instead they started just asking me a bunch of info on my medical history and my family's.
Then they gave me a prescription for prenatal vitamins. So I asked ' Am I pregnant?'
The dr was like 'Oh, you didn't know?' I said 'Well, I thought so but came here to confirm it.' Then the dr told me a list of things that could go wrong. I didn't really care for that one dr and the way they spoke about things. It made me leave feeling unsure if everything was ok. When I finally got to see the dr I wanted at my next vist, they made me feel very happy that baby was doing well and I left feeling confident. Big difference!

That is a strange comment to come from a doctor. All pregnancies have risk factors, especially in the beginning....but they are all blessings and most of them are just fine! If you feel uncomfortable with this doctor, do yourself the favor and change now! The experience will be all the better if you have somebody you really like and trust!
