Yesterday was FH & my 4 year anniversary of the day we met! We were set up on a blind date by two friends on Nov. 22, 2002 and the four of us went to see the James Bond movie 'Die Another Day.' As you guessed, we really hit it off. So last night, for our anniversary, we went with those same friends to see 'Casino Royale'! Are we dorks or what?
It's so funny to think that 4 years ago, I was looking for a 'rebound fling' and agreed to go see a James Bond movie with some guy I'd never met, and here we are, ready to spend the rest of our lives together. Goes to show you never know what surprises life has in store for you.

That's such a cute story of how you met...you guys should definitely find a way to incorporate James Bond into your wedding day...maybe if your having a DJ he could play the theme song before he introduces you guys into the room!

It's kind of crazy... but that's what we're doing! When the DJ introduces us at the reception ('Presenting, for the first time, Mr. & Mrs...' ) - the music we're using is Madonna's 'Die Another Day'. People who don't know how we met are gonna be REALLY confused.

our first real date we went to red lobster (we were 17) and it was the first time a boy ever took me out alone...anyway.. i was nervous to eat infront of a boy so i just had a salad and chicken fingers... so we went back there for our 3 year anniversary and i had the king crab legs...first thing FH said is thank god things have changed

Thanks, everyone! Since you all think my story was cute, let me gush about the details:
In Nov., 2002, my good friend and his good friend were dating, and they were hanging out with FH, and the three of them were talking about 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and how much FH loves the show, and my friend was like, 'Hey, I have a friend who loves 'Buffy'!' You two should meet. So the next week all four of us went to a movie. I was nervous, because I'd never been on a blind date, but my friend told me, 'don't worry, if there's ever a lull in the conversation, you guys can just talk about Buffy.' And that's exactly what happened, and why we hit it off so well!
Funny thing is, my friend and his friend broke up about a month later, and my friend and I kind of drifted apart. Me, FH, and his friend started hanging out all the time, the three of us, and now he's my best friend too. So, Nov. 22, 2002 is actually the 4-year anniversary of me meeting 2 of my favorite people in the world.

Um... so embarrassing, but we already decided that our cake toppers for our wedding cake are not going to be bride and groom figurines - they're going to be Buffy and Angel action figures! He already has a collection (I told you - DORK! ), and we're gonna use ones like these:
