I went looking for hairpins the other day for the wedding and saw some I loved but they were $400+ for 6 pins- is this normal?? I thought they would cost less than a heidpiece but perhaps I was wrong...

I saw them at a bridal shop so I don't have a picture. They were very very pretty but I was really surprised at the price tag.

That does seem like a lot. I got really nice ones from a bridal store. 6 for $180.

Unfortunately, if you found them in a Bridal Salon, that's a 'normal' price. - Look around ! You can absolutely get them for 1/4 of the price ! probably even less !!

Call me crazy but most likely you were looking at REAL crystal hair pins and 400 for 6 IS PRETTY GOOD! that is about 65 each...for real swaroffski crystals and if it is made by a designer, which i amsure it is...that is about right!
