I swear there has been a black cloud over me

today i was running to catch a train and this kid cut me off and i mid-run i tried not to bump into the kid and my whole foot went under me and i couldnt even walk, i sat on right where i was for 15-20 mins before i could even motivate and basically limped. BUt it started swelling up badly and my foot became so numb and i was in so much pain even just sitting and doing nothing. Fh took me to the doc and i sprained it so bad that i tore a muscle throughout my whole foot. I cant even move my foot, i can barely wiggle my toes, and cant walk without the crutches. I just used them now and its so hard to adjust to.

But this F*IN *****, the doc said it will take 6-8 weeks to fully heal but should be ok by the wedding. What F*IN luck is this and i have so much to do and i was ordered to stay in bed

ok now i have to run, it took me forever to go to the bathroom and i had to check email quick, so maybe ill be back on later tonight since i have nothing else to do

Oh no, you poor thing! That happened to a friend of mine 6 weeks before her wedding... she ended up needing surgery on her ankle....but everything worked out fine. And it will for you too!

I feel so bad for you and i truley know how u feel. I broke my foot in november the night before my bridal shower. I spent the entire time at the shower high of vicodin

That stinks!!!!! Feel better soon. Don't over to it to quickly. You don't want to end up hurting it more because you try to do to much to soon.

Denise~ all this bad luck can only mean that you are due an awful lot of good luck, so get ready!

I am in Queens 6 days a week so if you ever need anything picked up/dropped off let me know. Seriously!

that blooooows!!!! stay off your foot as much as possible so that it heals faster.

my dr told me to take this like homeopathic stuff when i had surgery 'arnica montana' to help me heal faster....maybe it would be worth calling and asking about it?

theyre like itty bitty pellets that tasted like sugar.

Oh my goodness!! I am so sorry! It sounds like you are taking it pretty good..so keep your head up!! Keep up that positive thinking and before you know it you'll be dancing!!! These kind of things are usually REALLY bad in the beginning..but within 3 weeks you should be feeling A LOT better!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!! Hey - at least you'll always have a crazy story to tell about your wedding!

aw Denise I am sorry-you will heal in time for the wedding. Most likely it will be more like 4-6 weeks if you stay off of it.

I badly sprained my ankle, pulled muscles, tendons, fractured 4 toes all 4 weeks before my prom and I was walking by my prom...just make sure to take care of it-also ibuprofen helps with swelling, lots of ice.
