Ok ladies with 49 days to i need some serious help. Here's what i need help with:
I need a unique idea for place cards as well as the table numbers. I do not have a theme but my colors are champagne/gold and chocolate brown. I would be willing to incorporate a theme if need be.
I also need to know where can I get the 'Mr. and Mrs.' letters or placque that will be on our table.
One more thing (for now) I am doing a candy buffet for our wedding. I was going to let this serve as the favors but now i am rethinking it. I'm still doing the buffet but is that enough? or should i do something on the side? I was maybe thinking bottles of wine. But i am on a tight budget and i would really need to know what wine is good and the most inexpensive.
PLEASE ladies i am so deperate right now...i'm sure you can hear my desperation coming through your computers
ANY ideas would be appreciated.

Flower girl basket ring bearer pillow
Where can I get these cheap?

you can get flower girl basket and rb pillow on ebay and at low prices.
WOuld you want to do a crystal type tree for place cards, that was one of my favorites that i saw.
for table numbers you can do pics of you two, you can use your epics. Thats what i did, i had pics from our epics and the table number were on them and then put them in a frame.
Dont worry, these are all small things and with 49 days to go you have plenty of time. I didnt get table numbers and placecards done until the week of the wedding lol.
And you can go right now on ebay to search for those 2 items, it will also come quick and this way youll knock 2 things off your list right away and will feel better

If you're a little crafty, you can get the hard foam letters at Michael's and paint them. They're like 99 cents or something. IDK if I can really help you with place cards. I bought mine at Michael's and printed them at home. They have a pearl border but they look really pretty. As far as a ring bearer pillow and flower girl basket, go to ebay. You can find really cute stuff mad cheap.

Oh, and the candy buffet. If you're going to do this as your favor, just do that. It's not as cheap as you think. I was looking in to doing it. If your RH will provide you the glasswear, then you've got it made. Candy is expensive! Even if you get it from Oriental Trading it is expensive. (and they are cheap!) You'll need about 1/4 to 1/2 lb of candy for every guest at the wedding. Plus you'll need containers for the candy, and scoops for small candy items. It really does add up. But, if heard it's a hit with everyone that has had one.

for flower girl baskets and ring pillow, i suggest looking at Michaels and/or Party City...I found that their prices are comparable to what you find on ebay when you factor in shipping rates. Plus, at stores you actually get to see and feel them.
for place cards, i had an autumnal theme, so i bought candles in the shape of apples, pears and pumpkins, and attached a paper 'leaf' to each one with the guest's name and table number. You could get red heart candles and do something similar.
Since your colors are more in the metal color family, you could also get gold star candles, or perhaps a small votive.

also another idea for the placecards, my sister rented a seating chart from fairy tale affairs in massapequa, it came out beautiful! if you are looking for something different besides place cards i would look into this option

I used Lenox placecard frames and had a CP placed on the table along with it and a matching 8X10 framed engagement photo .
I think you can also get a Mr. and Mrs. table sign at lenox.com and the flower girl basket I purchased at Walmart and never used because the florist provided one. Our ring pillow was a gift but it was the Lenox one my MIL found at Macy's.
We got our ring bearer pillow at AC Moore-they are cheap and they have 40% off coupons every week.

I bought my FG basket at Party City....$6.99 'MR and MRS' letters are cheap at Michaels'- you can spray paint them or paint them. Michael's and AC Moore have coupons every week in Newsday, plus if you sign up for emails they send you coupons. I think the candy buffet really adds up and is totally enough for a favor You don't need to worry about giving something else along with it at all (I wish I could go to a wedding where there was a candy bar as a favor lol!!!) What U can do is have the favor bags or boxes printed with your names and wedding date so that guests know it is your favor, but I don't even think that's necessary!! Place cards...not sure if I have any good suggestions for you, sorry!!!! The only thing I can think of is very tedious...after they are printed, you could glue something to each one OR (just thought of this) you could order placecard holders that would also serve as something guests could take home. They have really cute holders now...I've seen shells, squirrels, little frames that look like theatre marquees...I glued tiny shells to my placecards bec I had a seashell theme...but cursed myself after the 5th one for starting such a project lol!! GL and dont' worry...you definitely have time to get these things done!!
