We're days away from booking our venue and realize that we need to start focusing my energy on other vendors. We set a 4k budget for photo AND video...any suggestions on vendors that might fit within that?

It is doable, but some photographers were more willing to work with that budget than others. Also, Idk if you'll be able to get a 'fancy' video. I'm getting a basic, edited video with chapters and a trailer. Check out Thomas Paul and Fade to Black.

that seems to be the going price. Ive seen a few and with a package and photographer im paying 3750 which is around what everyone else said. If i get a second photographer it will go over four a little which i think i am... If you want to seek out your own like AJ type video then it is more.

Try Jaylim say angelica sent you. the cinematic style video is 2k with the photographer and just DVD of all the prints plus editing .
Definitely check out Fade to Black or Thomas Paul.

It is definitely possible. I would check out SilverFox. That is who we booked and they have different packages that will definitely meet your budget.

I am actually meeting with Light House this weekend. Would you mind forwarding me the quoates they gave you? I went to NI Photography and was so impressed however it was so expensive and completely out of our budget= (

I dont think you can be at $4,000 for lighthouse unless you do the absolute lowest package for photo and he takes $500 off the video to be honest. I think you are looking at at least $5,000

I'm paying less than $3k, it can definitely be done! I'm only getting a basic video, 8 hours of coverage, edited with chapter points. My photography package is simple, 8 hours of coverage and I get a disc with the edited images with rights to the pics, I didn't want an album. I'm using Dan Wagner for photography (his pics are amazing) and Halo Productions for video.

Mine is in the ballpark of that with JayLim. I'm getting the cinematic style video and the photography package that includes two photographers.
