I went to the subway series game on Sunday night at Yankee Stadium...oh how horrible! As if it wasn't bad enough loosing badly in the afternoon game but things were worse at the evening game. I wanted to leave in the first inning when the score was 6-0 yankees with no outs.....I wanted to run out of there....

The Mets better kick butt this weekend at Shea!

but you proved you got guts.. I respect that.. you won't find me anywhere near Yankee Stadium during Mets-Yanks.

I even had the guts to stay till the 6th inning!

I couldn't get tickets for the games at Shea, So the only available mets/yankees game was at yankee stadium. To be honest though I don't think I'll be going to that stadium again. It's in a very bad looking area of the Bronx. In the daytime it doesn't look too bad but in at night it looks a lot worse. When DH and I were walking to the train station I was holding on tight to him...LOL I'm not just saying this cuz i am not a yankee fan. Honestly, this stadium is in a crappy area of the bronx. I haven't been to yankee stadium since I was 12 (I wasn't even a fan of baseball back then, I just went as part of a trip for summer camp.

I don't even have a problem with the location of the stadium in respect to the neighborhood, I do however have a big problem with the traffic. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get to Yankee Stadium from Hicksville on Tuesday nite. ARGHHHHH!!!

yeah, i know.. true.

Um, it's 6-5 now...

even though i'm not watching the game, and i don't really love baseball all that much - if i had to choose a team to root for, it would be the Mets......good luck!

Damm i totally forgot there was a game today.

Good win. Best thing I am seeing so far.

Hidalgo since coming to the Mets... 4HRs in 12 games. That is HUGE... keep it up!
