1. Coral House - not our style but the woman we met with was nice.
2. Westburry Manor - loved loved loved this place but the room we were going to be put in was the Garden room and it was too small for us and the other room had a min. of 225 and it was too big for us. Otherwise, the banquet manager we dealt with was very nice and helpful.

I have quotes for Coral House and Westbury Manor.

Good luck.

4. Antun's of Westchester - didnt know there was one in westchester!
5. Antun's of Queens - i've been to a few events at this RH....i'm not too fond of it, prices were great, food was just okay to me, no valet parking but there is a huge parking lot.

Re: 5 RECEPTION HALLS VISIT

My cousin got married at Floral Terrace this past February and it was very nice. The room was HUGE and elegant and the food was pretty good, especially the Venetian Hour. They even offered us seconds. However, I did no like that the bathrooms were not on the same floor as the reception room was. It was a pain to go up and down the stairs/elevator.

Westbury Manor is beautiful and the food is really good. My sister and I have both been to weddings there and raved about it

My Aunt got married at Coral House about 15 years ago. I believe they have redone it. But fro what I can remember it was nice and the packages are reasonable

Re: 5 RECEPTION HALLS VISIT

I am a little biased but I LOVE the Floral Terrace!!!! They are SO amazing. I have never heard one bad thing about this hall. The ballroom is absolutely gorgeous! A HUGE thing for us was that they only do one wedding at a time, which I feel is very important. The food is incredible, and the staff is just as amazing! I love how everytime I come up with a crazy demand they say YES! It's wonderful to never hear 'no.' Definitely visit them!! If you have any more specific questions, please FM me and I'll be happy to help.

We also visited the Westbury Manor. They had the date we wanted and we really wanted to love it there, but we couldn't force ourselves to. The main room was way too small for us, even though they claimed it could hold like 300. We saw it set up for about 110 and we thought it was cramped as it was. They also quoted us a ridiculously high price and an extremely high price for a SUNDAY! They were taking advantage of the fact that it was a popular date, which I didn't like. The staff was nice and I LOVED the outdoor grounds, but it just wasn't for us.

Re: 5 RECEPTION HALLS VISIT

1. Coral House- we were going to book there, but we found our hall and fell 100% in love!
the food AMAZING, granted i'm allergic to everything, the one thing I tried was the chateau briand, which I usually HATE, i LOVED it!
2. Floral Terrace- we tried to make an appointment with them, honestly, they were very rude to us, we sent several emails back and forth trying to make an appointment, I'd send on one monday to visit on thursday and i wouldn't hear back from them until the following monday telling me they are too busy to see us and to try back in a few weeks this happened several times. when i finally got someone on the phone they told us they start at over $100 for a thursday in december. so a saturday would be far to expensive (for us)
3. Westburry Manor- LOVED the grounds, the room we looked at (their largest) we felt was too small for us and our BM was a little pushy while not caring. FBIL went to a wedding there and said it was nice, the food was great but he felt cramped and there were only 150 people (in the large room) we would have had 200.
4. Antun's of Westchester- never heard of it
5. Antun's of Queens- never heard of it

Re: 5 RECEPTION HALLS VISIT

I can only speak for two. I live near Antun's of Westchester. My friend had her e-party there years ago. Unless it has changed DRASTICALLY, i would not bother. I think you could do much better at the other places. Number one, it is literally right on top of the Saw Mill River Parkway.

IMO opinion, Westbury Manor blows this place away...yes, that is where I am booked, but I am being totally honest.

Re: 5 RECEPTION HALLS VISIT

I visited Westbury Manor today and LOVED it. Both the interior and exterior were beautiful, elegant and well-maintained. If you like a historical, old world feel it would be nice for you. At this point, I want to see a few more places, but Westbury Manor is my top choice.
The prices:
For a thursday night in August : $70 pp before tax and gratuity.
For a Saturday night in August : $130 before tax and gratuity.
I'm going to upload some photos later so take a look. Good luck !

Re: 5 RECEPTION HALLS VISIT

1. Coral House - they let us taste the food on first visit--it was really good....the staff was nice...nice if you want to get married outside by lake...prices were really good....Our wedding is small and the room they offered for cocktail hour was not our taste...also my last turn off was that there was no valet parking for guest....otherwise if you are on a budget the price is really good.
2. Westburry Manor - the place was beautiful...but the room we were going to be put in was the Garden room ok...actually loved the cocktail room more....price was average...the menu looked amazing....

Good luck

Re: 5 RECEPTION HALLS VISIT

I went to a wedding at coral house last year and the food was good, no valet parking, but we parked it across the street for free. The packages are very reasonable. The decor of the whole place was fine, but not necessarily my style. The ceremony was by the pond during august and there were flies everywhere.

Autun's of Westchester- FH and I made an appointment to visit and never made it because on our way there we could not find the place at first and as we were getting closer (according to the GPS) the neighborhood was getting a little sketchy, so we drove away! But we may have just been lost, who knows! The prices are very reasonable however. I went to see a wedding planner who does weddings there all the time and had video and pictures of the place and I thought it was just okay. One room in particular though looked soo old fashioned, but the bigger room was fine.

Re: 5 RECEPTION HALLS VISIT

The neighborhood near Antun's in Westchester is totally safe. So, dont fear there. There isnt actually much around it since it is kinda on a 'service road' of the Saw Mill. There is a motel and a gas station on the same street, but around the corner is Main Street in Elmsford, and that is a decent area.

However, I agree with what was just said, rooms are a little oldfashioned.
