5 weeks to go and NO LIMO
I am freaking out. I am getting married in 38 days and still have not booked a limo. All I want is one of those SUV limos that holds 16-18 people. Is anyone else getting something similar, and if so, how much are you paying? I am appalled at how much money these places want for just 2 hours! Can anyone suggest a good, reliable limo company?
Thanks a bunch...
melissa :)

I booked AllStar 15 days before my wedding and no problems...I think SUVs are expensive whereever you go, but try to negotiate a 2 hour deal...and plus that they will be filling the day...

Re: 5 weeks to go and NO LIMO
We are using NJL limo. I got a Rolls Royce (4 hours)and the Escalade limo (5 hours) for $1250 that includes tax and gratuity. I can't recall how much it was for just the Escalade. most of the places we looked into wanted $950 for three hours in the SUV limos. So I think we got a good deal. Let me know if you need the number or if you have any questions.

I booked M&V limo in Smithtown. Great service (so far) and a nice selection of cars.

Re: 5 weeks to go and NO LIMO
HI Melissa,I'm getting married in 36 days and also have not started looking at limos. Since I only need one and there are so many companies I put that job at the end of my list. I did call Sir Oliver two days ago becaue they are recommended by my caterer, but after seeing the bad review of them here (and they also have a complaint against them on the Better Business site) I am going to try M&V since they are close to me. All Star has a great Web site, but they are really far from me.
The person I spoke to at Sir Oliver did quote me $175 for the trip (I just need a car to take me to the catering hall, where our ceremony and reception are being held).
Good luck!

Re: 5 weeks to go and NO LIMO
OK we are using M&V and getting the stretch BMW that sits 12 max. We are getting a pick up and drop off and spending $350 for it! FI said let's do it so we splurged. It is expensive and such a waste of a nice looking limo for a short ride but we figured why not, it is our wedding day!

Re: 5 weeks to go and NO LIMO
I finally booked a limo....M&V in Smithtown...they seemed to be the most reasonable (if you could call $750 reasonable). We are getting the BMW X5 stretch SUV that holds 18 for 3 1/4 hours. THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP!!!!

Re: 5 weeks to go and NO LIMO
Melissa...we are using the same BMW X5 stretch from M&V, isn't it cool? I love the lights inside and all. I would say $750 isn't bad at all for 3 1/4 hours since we are paying $350 for a pick up and drop off ONLY! I thought they told me that it would only hold 12 though?! This is it below right?
