50 days to go and I had my shower today!! One Word: WOW!

It was amazing. 37 guests who were unbelievably generous. We received so many beautiful gifts. My mom, five sisters, and my 2 brothers fiancees truly outdid themselves. They made beautiful break away centerpieces as favors w/ about a dozen burgundy and yellow mini-roses in each(the ladies LOVED these!) and had about another 15 dozen in vases on the gift table and head table. The decorations were beautiful, too! (Very tasteful, cuz they know I don't care for streamers and balloons). They draped burgundy and white tulle throughout the ceiling and added burgundy wedding bells (can ya tell burgundy is my color?!) The best part: (besides the bingo while I opened gifts - another big hit!!) They hand made a *mini* wishing well, took small polaroid photos of every guests, glued them inside a gorgeous embossed ecru card and asked each guest to write us a special note or give us advice and put the cards in the well. Some messages were hilarious and others were so touching they made me cry! Anyway, I'm rambling! It was a perfect day. One I'll never forget! Best of luck to everyone!! :)
